Central SOEs 13th Five-Year Plan Period CSR Strategic Planning Research Group Actions

2015 is the last year for central SOEs to implement the harmonious development strategy of the 12th Five-Year Plan period. Throughout the year, central SOEs have conducted social responsibility planning for the 13th Five-Year Plan period and carried out a new round of reform. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, central SOEs have yielded good effects in implementing the “One Goal” and “Five Strategies” as well as strengthening the “Three Safeguards”. Faced with new trends of the era, new normal in economic development, and new expectations of stakeholders, central SOEs should grasp new opportunities and rise up to new challenges, incorporating social responsibility into management and operation. Therefore, SASAC initiated the task to make strategic plans for central SOEs to perform social responsibility during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period so that they could further implement the Harmonious Development Strategy Implementation Outline for Central SOEs during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period and make summaries accordingly, which could provide guidance for central SOEs to perform social responsibility during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period.

Entrusted by SASAC Research Bureau, GoldenBee (Beijing) Management Consulting Co., Ltd. has undertaken the task to make strategic plans for central SOEs during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period, and visited a number of central SOEs to do research for the task since May, 2015.


On the morning of May 21, the research started in Guang Dong Power Grid Corporation, the biggest subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid, and visited the dispatching center of Guang Dong Power Grid Corporation.


On the afternoon of May 21, the research group began its research at China Southern Air Holding Company and visited Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. 


On May 22, the research group visited China Merchants Group, one of China’s oldest companies, and participated in the panel discussion with staff from China Merchants Group and China Merchants Property Development Co., Ltd. 


On May 29, the research was ongoing at the site of Lu Neng Project of Beijing branch of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. The picture shows that the research group was listening to the project introduction.


On June 2, the research group went to China National Building Materials Group Corporation, China’s largest construction materials R & D and production enterprise. The research group also visited the exhibition room of Beijing New Building Material (Group) Co., Ltd.
