Inauguration ceremony for HUST-GoldenBee CSR Research Institute

On March 20, 2018, HUST-GoldenBee CSR Research Institute was founded in Wuhan. As the first CSR research institute jointly launched by the university and business circles, the Institute will explore the TRC (Teach, Research And Consult) education mode in theoretical research and talent cultivation for CSR, to support CSR’s rapid development in China and serve the high-quality economic and social development in China.

Co-initiated by Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and GoldenBee CSR Consulting, the Institute invites scholars and experts from universities, governments and media to consist of an academic committee, and aims to grow into a country-leading CSR research institute with distinct characteristics, competitive strength and international influence. It is committed to fostering CSR disciplines with Chinese characteristics, advancing CSR theoretical research via in-depth industry-university-research integration and cultivating CSR professionals.

Through the collaboration, both parties can better align their advantageous resources. the Institute will launch a series of theoretical and policy research on CSR, provide CSR performance summaries, investigative reports and policy suggestions about enterprises and other organizations for governments, and strive to become a think tank of sustainable development for governments and organizations.
