GoldenBee invited to a breakfast talk by SwedCham China and Embassy of Sweden

On August 31, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China (SwedCham China) and Embassy of Sweden organized “Together Driving Sustainable Industries Forward” breakfast talk. Nearly 40 enterprises from China and Sweden joined this event both online and on-site. Ms. Dai Yibo, Vice President of GoldenBee Consulting, was invited to deliver a keynote speech and moderate the panel discussion.


During the event, Ms. Dai introduced the Drive Sustainability project which generated great interests from the participants.


Drive Sustainability is a global partnership bringing together 12 partners and 6 supporters of automotive companies, which is committed to improve both their own performance and that of their supply chain by integrating sustainability in the overall procurement process.


Drive Sustainability China network includes BMW, Scania, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes Benz China, Volkswagen Group, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group and Geely Holdings. GoldenBee Consulting is the facilitator of Drive Sustainability China.


Ms. Liu Meng, Head of Asia Pacific Networks of United Nations Global Compact, and Ms. Anna Zhan, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Affairs Manager at H&M Group in China also gave keynote speeches at the event.

Afterwards, Ms. Dai moderated a panel discussion, in which representatives from Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics China Co., Ltd., H&M Group, Scania Sales (China) Co., Ltd., and Volvo Cars Asia-Pacific had in-depth and lively exchange on topics including the main sustainability initiatives they responded to; the implementation of sustainability-related work; how to cooperate with stakeholders and tackle their core concerning issues, etc. All speakers agreed on the significance of stakeholder engagement and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

It is expected that with the joint efforts of all parties participated, Chinese and Swedish enterprises will work together to make greater contributions to sustainable development in the future.
