Ms. Lin Bo delivered a keynote speech titled "Embracing Sustainability for a Better Future", introducing the sustainable development trends and action features of China's food industry.

She outlined three suggestions for fostering sustainable development in the food industry. Firstly, the industry should actively develop the governing body and governance mechanism for sustainable development, exploring models that integrate sustainability into business and industry growth. The second is to establish a resource recycling industry system, accelerate the promotion of carbon peak and carbon neutrality practices, while strengthening quality control of the entire value chain to timely identify and mitigate food safety risks. Thirdly, she suggested to enhance the awareness of sustainability-related disclosure, innovate disclosure formats, and leverage diverse communication methods with better communication effects.
